The students of Colaiste Mhichíl CBS received the Volunteering For All Award on 15 May, 2019.
The Volunteering For All workshop participants surveyed their peers to receive a 70% response rate to learn about their efforts in volunteerism, and to learn about school diversity.
Many of the students are currently involved and volunteering in their local communities. Every student surveyed responded that they see the importance of volunteerism for themselves and their community.
The school was excited about receiving the Award, as volunteerism and giving back to their community is an important part of the school ethos and values.
